This 1868 Three Dollar Gold is a flashy example that has been graded AU58 by NGC.  She has milky fields that are soft yet, gleaming with reflective luster.  The coin is spot free and has the strike you would expect from a much higher graded coin.  This date can certainly be considered scarce,  and choice uncirculated specimens are very rare.   With only 4,850 pieces being minted, this is a perfect coin to add to any high end collection.
